    I love this beautiful ad. From 1943 edition of Vogue. Featuring the gorgeous model Betty McLauchlen.

    Betty was the "Super Model" of the 1940s. Working for the Powers modeling agency in New York. She was at the height of her career in 1947 making a salary of $200.00 per week. Wow! times have changed. She was the most photographed model of that time.
